Esk Recreation Grounds
Incorporating Esk Racecourse, Showgrounds, Campdraft Arena, Golf Course
The Esk Recreation Grounds are the home of the Esk Jockey Club, Esk Show Society (also known as the Esk Pastoral, Agricultural and Industrial Association), Esk Campdraft Association and Esk Country Golf Club.
The facilities are Council owned and located on Esk Hampton Rd, Esk.
Council manages the Esk Racecourse and Showgrounds in consultation with the Esk Showgrounds Advisory Committee, which consists of representatives from four organisations based at the facility.
Major events at the venue include the Esk Campdraft (May annually), Esk Show (May annually) and Esk Races (March, July and December annually).
In 2019 Somerset Regional Council undertook extensive works to refurbish the main amenities facilities at the site.
In February 2020, Council adopted a Master Plan for the Esk Racecourse, Showgrounds and Golf Course. Click here to view the master plan.

Fernvale Recreation Grounds
Incorporates Col Powell Park, Fernvale Community Hall, Fernvale Indoor Sports Centre and Stumer Park
The Fernvale Recreation Grounds are owned and managed by Council. The facility is located at Banks Creek Road, Fernvale.
The Fernvale Recreation Grounds host a range of activities including campdrafts and pony club events.
In 2019 Council undertook extensive works to refurbish the site including upgrading fencing and drainage from the facility.
In August 2021, Council adopted a Master Plan for the Fernvale Recreation Grounds. Click here to view the master plan.

Fernvale Campdraft Association
Kilcoy Recreation Grounds
Incorporating the Racetrack, Showgrounds, Campdraft arena, Rodeo Arena and Polocrosse Fields
The Kilcoy Recreation Grounds is home to the Kilcoy Race Club, Kilcoy Show Society (also known as the Kilcoy Pastoral, Agricultural and Industrial Society), Kilcoy Campdraft Committee, Stanley River Polocrosse Club, Kilcoy Pony Club, Kilcoy Rodeo Committee and the Working Cow Horse Club of Queensland Inc.
The Kilcoy Showgrounds and Racecourse are owned by the Somerset Regional Council and are located at Showgrounds Rd, Woolmar.
Council manages the facility in consultation with the Kilcoy Showground Committee comprising representatives of the five associations based at the venue.
Major events at the venue include the Kilcoy Show (May annually), Kilcoy Races (various dates), Kilcoy Campdraft (September annually) and Kilcoy Rodeo (March annually), Stanley Rivers Polocrosse (August Annually), Kilcoy Pony Club (various dates) and the Working Cow Horse Club (various dates).
In 2020, with the support of the Queensland Government, Council completed the Kilcoy Racecourse Grandstand Redevelopment project. This saw the construction of a new grandstand facility, with indoor and outdoor dining facilities and improvements to the betting ring. This project complimented works completed in recent years, including the construction of the Trackside Pavilion and redevelopment of the Ken and Mary Nunn Pavilion.
In February 2020, Council made an additional commitment to the future of the site by purchasing a 6-hectare property adjacent to the north boundary of the showgrounds.

Lowood Showgrounds
The Lowood Showgrounds are owned and managed by the Lowood Show Society. The facility is located at Station Road, Lowood.
The Lowood Showgrounds host the annual Lowood Show in June.
The Lowood and Gatton Gymnastics Club is also based at the facility.

Toogoolawah Showgrounds
The Toogoolawah Showgrounds are owned and managed by the Toogoolawah Show Society (also known as the Toogoolawah Dairying, Agriculture and Industrial Association). The facility is located at 54 Ivory Creek Road, Toogoolawah.
The Toogoolawah Showgrounds host the Toogoolawah Show (June annually), the Toogoolawah Show Ball (May annually) and Toogoolawah Charity Rodeo (April annually).
The Toogoolawah Clay Target Club is also based at the Toogoolawah Showgrounds.
