Art comes to life for The Condensery’s first 2026 exhibition

The Condensery – Somerset Regional Art Gallery welcomed puppetry and art lovers for its first exhibition opening of 2026 on Saturday, 28 February.
The event also revealed The Condensery’s 2026 Program, with a swathe of dynamic artists and bold exhibitions sure to challenge, connect and inspire.

Council released its Draft Corporate Plan 2026-2031 for public consultation on Monday, 2 March, with submissions closing 5pm Monday, 23 March.

Facilitated by Cheryl Mascali from Arafmi, this session welcomes both new and experienced carer’s to share experiences, gain skills, and feel supported. Arafmi is Queensland’s peak body for unpaid mental health carer’s.

Movement to Music in Lowood

Somerset Regional Council and its seniors connection program, In Good Company, has partnered with venue provider STAR Community Services to host fortnightly Movement to Music sessions.

Bookings required, with payment in cash required at the first session of each term. Please contact Council on (07) 5424 4000 to reserve your spot.
