Roads
Somerset Regional Council is committed to maintaining its vast road network for the region's residents. With more than 1500 kilometres of roads, footpaths and kerb and channelling to maintain, council crews are frequently out and about.
Road works include:
- Constructing roads, bikeways and footpaths
- Road shoulders
- Street sweeping
- Marking lines on roads
- Grading rural roads
- Repairing bridges
- Drains
- Bus shelters
- Off-street parking
- Quarry operations
