SOMERSET Regional Council’s Pool Movie Nights are back for the summer school holidays.
SOMERSET Regional Council’s Pool Movie Nights are back for the summer school holidays.
Council will host three free events at its swimming pools in Lowood, Kilcoy and Toogoolawah with plenty of entertainment, food and fun for the whole family.
On Monday, 16 December, visit the Lowood Swimming Pool to catch The Polar Express (G).
Then on Thursday, 19 December, the Kilcoy Aquatic Centre will screen Jungle Bunch 2 - World Tour (PG).
Lastly on Friday, 20 December, Toogoolawah Swimming Pool will have all the action with Kung Fu Panda 4 (PG).
Pools will open their gates at 3pm with movies starting 6.30pm.
Somerset Mayor Jason Wendt said the Pool Movie Nights were a great way to beat the summer heat.
“This is a completely free community event and the perfect opportunity to unwind over the Christmas silly season,” Cr Wendt said.
“There’s also a free sausage sizzle and I’m told there will be a visit from a very special man coming all the way from the north pole.”
Bring your towels, picnic blankets and chairs to enjoy this unique experience, proudly organised by Somerset Regional Council.
