You are invited to play a part in planning the future of the Esk Racecourse, Showgrounds and Golf Club.

 

Somerset Regional Council is preparing a master plan for the site and has appointed CPR Group to develop the plan. You can use this opportunity to make Council aware of the way in which the site is currently used, how it could be used in the future, and what future equipment and infrastructure could benefit all site user groups.

Even if your organisation has not used the showgrounds in the past, you may have an idea to improve the way it could be used in the future. You may also have ideas about other groups that may like to use the grounds and facilities. Please note that this is a planning process designed to assess your desired community needs, taking into account available funding and realistic timeframes.

The master plan does not commit Council or any other organisation to a responsibility to implement the project elements, or deliver within a specified timeframe. The ideas and views of you or your organisation are important to this process to ensure that your issues are considered in the master plan.
