In the face of a changing climate, global shifts in agriculture and food production and the increased recognition of traditional land management strategies, artists in Slow Churn explore the delicate interactions and interdependencies that exist between us and our natural world.
With the immediate needs of humanity at the core of many actions and policies that govern the environment, this exhibition considers the impacts of this human centric pace by turning to the adaptions and transformations of our insect life, soil, waterways, skyscapes and produce for alternative perspectives.
