Somerset Arts Network Event - 'What's the Plan?'

Be a part of the Arts in the Somerset.

The Somerset Arts Network Events, held three times per year seek to build arts development, community capacity and cultural tourism in the Somerset arts sector.

The Somerset is a vibrant region with both an established and burgeoning arts scene. The February event will be a chance for all Somerset artists to be inspired and share their vision for the sector going forward.

Guest speaker Luke Harriman, currently the General Manager for PAC (Performing Arts Centres Australia) will share insight into what it takes to create and sustain a dynamic regional arts sector. Luke has held roles with ARTour, Circa, Brisbane City Council and Gympie Regional Council and is passionate about community, building effective teams and nurturing new artistic ideas.

A facilitated workshop will give you the chance to be a part of the consultation and planning for Somerset arts and the new Somerset Regional Council Arts and Cultural Strategy.

Local artists will be performing including Wild Eyed Wonder and Esk Community Choir quartet, complimentary refreshments will be provided by Brisbane Valley Produce and a cash bar is available
