- Service program
- Private market products - advisory services. Tenancy Assistance aims to: • engage with customers to identify issues that threaten the tenancy • overcome unexpected short-term tenancy problems before the tenancy ends • provide flexible, individualised assistance for customers • empower customers to identify issues impacting their tenancy • develop strategies to stabilise their tenancy situation. Determining suitability involves considering: • a customer’s ability to ‘pay the rent’ and ‘care for the property’ in the private rental market • capacity to offer the level of assistance needed to help the customer overcome their barriers to finding and securing a tenancy in the private rental market • real estate agents’ risk management practices involve determining a prospective tenant’s suitability for a property by assessing their ability to ‘pay the rent’ and ‘care for the property’. These attributes are therefore critical in determining a customer’s suitability.
