- Service program
- The Brave Foundation is an Australian not-for-profit charity that aims to equip expecting and parenting teens with resources, referral, and education opportunities to facilitate happy, healthy, and skilled families over time. In the Supporting Expecting and Parenting Teens (SEPT) program, expecting and parenting teens receive one on one support via a Virtual Mentor. A Virtual Mentor will assist by developing a Pathway Plan, an interactive tool created for expecting and parenting teens to identify their goals and ambitions. The young parent will receive emotional support and guidance around parenting, health, and wellbeing. Participants involved in the SEPT program will be connected to relevant services and support suited to their personalised needs and goals. The core component of the SEPT program is a focus on engaging the young parent in educational and employment pathways and reducing the barriers to these pathways.
