- Service program
- The Early Childhood Approach service helps families with children aged 0 - 8 with assistance, advice and access to support in your local community. If your child is aged 0 - 8 and has a disability, or if there are concerns with their development, they may be eligible to receive support from the NDIS through the Early Childhood Approach service. Providing quality intervention early in your child’s life reduces the possible need for longer-term intervention and will support them over time to lead an ordinary life. As the NDIS Partner delivering Early Childhood Approach services, EACH will be the first point of contact for parents and carers who have a baby or young child with developmental delay or disability, we will work with families to ensure they have access to supports quickly and easily.

- First contact with the family (within two business days) to determine the best pathway moving forward. At this stage, our Ipswich team have availability for initial meetings within 3-4 weeks.
- Duration service can be provided
- Community Connections If children do not meet eligibility criteria for access into the scheme or short term early intervention, EACH will connect the family to appropriate pathways and/or programs. Short-Medium Term Intervention 3-6 Months Short-Medium Term Intervention can be provided by our team at EACH and is for children that may be experiencing developmental delays but there is insufficient evidence at that point in time to indicate the necessity of an extended and more intensive level of multi-disciplinary therapy. For these children, short-medium term intervention may be able to offer the support required to progress to an age appropriate developmental level. Access into the National Disability Insurance Scheme If a child has longer-term support needs, EACH will assist with requesting access for an individualised NDIS support plan which will help a child get access to appropriate supports long term.
