- Support after impacted by suicide. At StandBy, we do short-term face-to-face outreach and phone follow up, and link people in with on-going counselling and/or services if they would like further face-to-face support. We are able to visit you in your home to do the support session if you're comfortable with that. Sessions can be with individuals, families, workplaces, community groups, and anyone impacted by the death.We are funded through the Federal Department of Health and Ageing, which means our services are free to access.You're welcome to call us to set up a session or to access phone support.Our telephone service – 1300 727 247 – is accessible 24/7 for incoming calls.
