BorrowBox has a wide selection of titles including latest releases, best sellers and lots of Australian titles. eBooks, eAudiobooks and eMagazines are available to borrow from the comfort of your own home or anywhere in the world with checked out titles syncing automatically to your device. Furthermore, the Borrow Box app synchronises your reading/listening progress via the cloud automatically without a touch. Simply put down one device, pick up another and continue where you left off. Best of all, accessibility features make stories accessible for everyone.

This virtual library has similar functions to a physical library. You may loan up to 10 eBook and/or eAudiobook loans for a period of 14 days. You may renew items up to 2 times as long as no one else is waiting on them. If a title is currently on loan you may place a hold. When the title becomes available it will be automatically checked out to you. Holds can be cancelled through the ‘My Account’ page or in the mobile app.

How do I login?

You will be reading your favourite eBooks and listening to your favourite eAudiobooks in no time at all when you follow these simple steps. Begin by clicking ‘Sign In’ in the top righthand corner of the screen.

In the Barcode or Alias field, enter your library card number. Then, enter your PIN number into its respective field. When you are done click ‘Sign In’ to continue.

If this is your first time logging in to Borrow Box you will be asked to create your account. This entails entering your email address and agreeing to the Terms and Conditions of the site. Fill in the relevant fields and check boxes and click ‘Submit’ to finalise your registration.

When you have been successful in creating your account you will be redirected to a screen that explains how Borrow Box works. Click ‘Next’ to continue back to the homepage.

The Story Box Library is a collection of stories for children and families, written by celebrated children’s authors and illustrators, read by a diverse range of everyday storytellers – sportspeople, musicians, grandparents, teenagers, comedians, actors, with varying accents and from different cultures – each sharing past and present book titles. The result is meaningful, entertaining readings that focus on both teller and tale.

How do I login?

You will be reading stories with celebrities in no time when you follow these simple login instructions. To begin click ‘LOG IN’ in the top righthand corner of the screen.

You will be directed to the generic login page. Underneath the generic login there is a button that reads ‘Click here for library barcode login’: click it.

On the login screen choose ‘Somerset Regional Council’ from the drop-down menu (if you start typing it will appear) and enter your library card number into the respective field. Finally, click ‘LOG IN’ to access your account. Enjoy.
